Pastor Willie Smith Under Pastor Smith's leadership the church mortgage has been paid off, the parking lot paved; a nursing home and women's ministry added and 16 souls baptized and added to God's Kingdom.	Deacon James Dawson James Edward Dawson served in the Korean War as a Sergeant from 1952 to 1954. He received the Korean Service Ribbon and two National Defense Service Medals.	Noami Azariah Noam Azariah from Demopolis Middle School won two track medals at Paul Bryant High School Track Meet.
3/17/2019: I would like thank My Savior, My Creator, My Redeemer....Jesus Christ because HE IS MY EVERYTHING! Thank you for the trials, the long suffering, the blessings, and they people you placed in my life. Thank you Father for not giving up on me and thank you Holy Spirit for your guidance. I love you!	In 2017, I had complications trying to give birth and had to undergo emergency surgery. I lost 2 liters of blood and the doctors said me and the baby might not make it. God was right there with me. After the surgery, I was unable to travel to UAB Hospital. On September 12, 2017, my husband woke up in a panic and said that he had to go see our son today." When he arrived at the hospital, he held our son as he was dying in his arms. No matter what what we go through God will always see us through.	Noami Azariah Noami attended the Mind Over Matter Purity Ball, where girls are taught to be pure and take a vow of celibacy until marriage. Congrats Noami.

Jacoby Collins 6/14/2019: On the 5th night of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church revival, Jacoby stepped out on faith and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Community Outreach 6/29/2019: Oak Grove conducted its first community outreach in the Demopolis Wal-Mart Shopping Plaza. People were blessed with clothing, shoes, food, small household items and a word from the Lord.	Jacoby Collins Baptism 7/7/2019: Jacoby Collins was baptized at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.	Sis. Shawkate Nikitin A Prayer Answered: My husband was baptized for the first time in his life on Friday, July 26, 2019. I thank God for strength and patience He has given me. It's not easy when one is a believer and the other is a non believer or backslider. Many times I wanted to throw in the towel but God wouldn't let me. The answer God kept giving me was to keep loving my husband. Thank you Lord for showing me how to love my husband....YOUR WAY!

Amyrah Tucker Amyrah Tucker confessed Christ on September 11, 2022 at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was baptized on September 18, 2022 by her grandfather, Pastor Willie Smith.	The Oak Grove School Heritage Committee is pleased to announce that The Oak Grove Rosenwald School has been awarded $37,500.00 to assist with the preservation of the historical school.
